Book Talk Question # 2

What is the setting of your story and how does it compare to the setting in which you live? What is similar? What is different? Do you think the setting will change drastically throughout your book? What will be the different settings? Make a prediction.

  1. The setting in my story is in Afghanistan, there isnt a lot of food and water there but there is a lot of food and water here. There isn't really anything the same between Afghanistan and Canada. What is diffrent is it is hot and dry there but its cold and wet in Prince Rupert, and women don't have to cover their faces with Burqas. I don't think the setting will change because i have read this book before. I think they will not find their father.

    1. I am happy that the Taliban isn't here but it is really sad that the Afghan suffer alot. It's a good thing women don't have to cover their face because we want to know what they look like. I think they will find their father.

  2. The setting in the story is in Afghanistan. Afghanistan is a very hot place to live and there are taliban. I live in Prince Rupert where it is cold and there is no Taliban. There really isn't any similar. The diffrence is there is no taliban and girld don't have to cover there face when they go outside. I don't think this book will change the settings.
